Koh: Choose Party That is Strong, Stable

MIRI, 7 APRIL, 2011: The Opposition is free to promise anything but what is important is for voters to choose a party that is strong and stable, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.

"We notice in the Opposition pact, there is a party that is falling apart... even in Sarawak it cannot get along with other parties," he said in an obvious reference to PKR when meeting members of the Miri Residence Commission here today.

"They (opposition parties) are already in conflict but they stay together just because they want to fight BN (Barisan Nasional)," said Koh, who is also Gerakan president.

He said if the Opposition made it to Putrajaya, they would cause untold problems for the people.'

As such, Koh said choosing the Barisan Nasional was the best choice the people could make as the coalition had a proven track record and was able to deliver the goods.
